Happy Birthday America! ~Fourth of July~

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I've been really sick with pneumonia, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Fourth of July. Happy Birthday America!

To all the Soldiers out their and their Families, Thank you for trying to do you're best in keeping the peace, keep safe, and May God keep you from harms way and back to seeing you're families.

I leave you with a song we all know by it's melogy. I'm guilty myself of not knowing the words.
So I placed a video with the words of Our American Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner Anthem. Years ago I got to see Fort McHenry at Baltimore, Maryland. I remembered the story the tour guy from the fort was relaying to us. About the poet who was on the English (if memory serves me correctly) ship watching the fort get bombarded all night. When the smoked cleared he saw that ragged American flag still up and continued to write his poem we now sing at all Special occasions. It's a really pretty poem when you read the words.

I don't mean to get sentimental, but I am. This country was founded on God, hard work, and the ability to defend ourselves. And in every corner Americans find themselves in so many crisis's. In the end we are either divided or united, but no matter what our political views are about this country or what nationality, or pay scale we come from we are all still brother's and sister's, son's and daughter's, Mother's and Father's, we are people that live and eat freely, that go to church, get naked, have so many freedoms that most of us don't know what to do with those freedoms. Overall this is a very good country a melting pot of flavors.

Just remember that a holiday does not need to define morality and common good will for that one day. It's something we should be doing everyday to be nice to your neighbor, be kind to the homeless, help someone in great need out and remember to thank God for the opportunity of giving us another day of breath. As we share it with our loved ones this day and every other day. If you don't have a love one or a good friend, put yourself out there. It may not be easy at first, the walls on people are many, but in the end your kind gesture will be rewarded by the one who counts. The Almighty God. :-)

So, here is to you America with all the wrongs and some of the rights our people have done over the centuries, Happy Birthday!!
